The task and the client
Design concept
The clients are a bright, extraordinary couple who set the tone for the whole project from the very start of our communication: they wanted not a restrained and predictable interior, but a truly lively space, saturated with color and detail. The layout accounted for a spacious kitchen-living room as the heart of the apartment and a cozy master bedroom — both spaces had to work equally well for hosting guests and for a quiet evening for two.
The foundation was the idea of a rich, "explorable" interior: juicy, noble shades, moldings and colored ceilings, custom furniture and many details that don't reveal themselves at first glance.

Each room got its own character and its own palette, but they share a common language — smooth, soft forms of furniture and decor, arches, roundings, textured finishes, and a love of unconventional solutions instead of standard ones.

Textiles are a big part of the work: a significant portion was made in the studio's own atelier, which made it possible to hit exactly the color and character of each room.
About the project
The kitchen layout here works for functionality and coziness at the same time — blue-steel fronts, light wood and a black countertop are balanced by a round kitchen island in olive relief tile: it was precisely this element that "pulled" the whole kitchen together. The area by the island is finished with ceramic tiles with a botanical ornament, brass sconces and hardware — resulting in a deep, almost restaurant-like atmosphere.
The living area rests on a comfortable modular sofa: textiles with bright prints (cacti, palms, birds) completed the look and gave the room a finished feel and mood. The space is connected by a decorative arch and a glass-block partition, behind which hides a surreal painting with a staircase and arches — a device that supports the theme of smooth forms throughout the apartment.
Kitchen-living room
Rich blue on the walls and ceiling combined with mustard-yellow textiles — a contrasting but noble pair. The headboard, brass wardrobe hardware in the shape of semicircular "coins" and a striking "falling-leaves" chandelier make the bedroom intimate and eye-catching at the same time.
On the accent wall — an original painting of a bird-girl in white plumage, around which the entire color layout of the room is built.
Master bedroom
Second bedroom
Here the mood is completely different — olive-green and yellow, art deco wallpaper with a fan ornament, a round mirror in black beads and a wavy yellow mirror by the door. A desk on curved spherical legs, a yellow niche-nightstand by the bed and a leopard poster in a "cloud" frame — the room is clearly designed for a young person with a grown-up character.
A small space thought through with an emphasis on ergonomics: a mirror in an unusual frame by the entrance, a rounded console for storing small items and a soft pouf that easily slides under it. The main storage is moved into a built-in wardrobe, and a single floor covering throughout the hallway keeps the already small space from being visually fragmented.

Client review
«We wanted an apartment with character — and got exactly that. Each room feels distinct, but together it all sounds harmonious. We were especially pleased with the details: the mirrors, the textiles, that very olive island in the kitchen. The home turned out just as we imagined it, only better.».
Hallway
One is in a turquoise-and-white palette, with a beaded mirror, fish-scale tiling and marble cladding of the shower zone; the second, more compact one, is in blue tones with marble panels, brass plumbing fixtures and floor tiles with a geometric ornament. Both are done using marble and brass as the linking materials of the whole apartment.
