The task and the client
Design concept
A project for a spacious country house with its own grounds and a view of the garden — the family wanted a home where, on the ground floor, private, almost spa-like zones (several bathrooms of different character) organically combine with a large shared living space: kitchen, dining room and living room. The layout is two-story, with a staircase leading to the second level.
The house is done in a calm, natural palette: warm light wood, gray-green and gray-blue walls, marble and terrazzo in the finishes, black matte hardware. The house's common language is the combination of warm wood and cold stone, where marble with a large dramatic pattern, dark terrazzo and graphic tile create a textured but restrained backdrop, while the decor — dried herbs, ceramics, sculptural lights — adds warmth and individuality. Each bathroom got its own character and material, but they all rest on one device: stone + wood + black metal.

Marble bathroom
More intimate and warmer in its lighting: the walls are clad in relief ceramic tile in a deep gray-beige tone, the countertop is dark terrazzo with an oval inset sink, an arched mirror in a black frame, a soft pouf at the foot.

Done in a concrete aesthetic — light-gray concrete-look tile, a wooden countertop with an inset sink, open shelves for towels.
A wooden table on massive legs, terracotta upholstered chairs, a light fixture of matte glass spheres, sage-colored panel walls with a graphic abstract painting, a TV zone and a cozy console with decor and a table lamp.

We wanted a home you want to live in slowly — with a place for guests and a place for quiet. We got exactly that: each bathroom feels like a little refuge, and the kitchen and living room became the center where the whole family gathers. Special thanks for the materials — the stone, wood and light are chosen so precisely that the house looks expensive without excessive opulence.
Dining room
Island kitchen. Light wood with fluted fronts, a dark speckled countertop, vertical subway tile by the sink, built-in Smeg appliances. The compositional accent — a cascade of multi-tiered "plate" pendant lights over the bar counter, under which gray leather chairs are arranged.
